About Us


Investing In Greatness (IIG) is an organization that enriches and empowers young leaders from multicultural communities.

IIG was founded by Jean Mike Jabo, Hani Hamid and Duku Forè as an initiative to help better themselves and their communities. They had a lot of enthusiasm and were able to successfully run several projects including a BBQ fundraiser for Haitian disaster relief. However, the lack of understanding governance processes saw them losing their way.

During this time, Dr. Jim Rawson OAM who was already mentoring Duku enlisted the help of Dr. Matthew Turnour in steering the young man. On Matthew’s suggestion of conducting an African community project with the Brisbane Lions, Jim organised a draft paper outlining the Afro/Aussie needs for development...
